Welcome to Metro Atlanta Endoscopy, LLC. Our ambulatory surgical center (ASC) was designed with patient satisfaction as our main goal. Our facility focuses on the highest level of quality, safety, privacy, and convenience for our patients. Having a procedure performed at Metro Atlanta Endoscopy allows the patient to return home quickly and comfortably.

Metro Atlanta Endoscopy, LLC. is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), and is fully certified by the Georgia Department of Health, meeting the same requirements as Georgia’s out-patient ASC's owned by hospitals.

Infection control is a high priority and our endoscopy center utilizes the latest scope and accessory cleaning and sterilization equipment and techniques which meet federally mandated EPA, OSHA, and ASGE guidelines.

We have put much care into creating a calm and caring environment for our patients. Upon checking in at the endoscopy reception area, the patient is taken to a procedure “prep” room where he/she will receive an IV. In the procedure room patients will receive conscious sedation to induce a “twilight state” making the endoscopy as pleasant and painless as possible.

After the procedure is completed, the patient is taken to our recovery area where they can relax with a family member while our nurses monitor their recovery before returning home. The physician will visit the patient in the recovery area to review their findings and release the patient into the care of the person driving the patient. Due to the sedation used during the procedure, patients must be released into the care of a family member or friend who can safely transport the patient home.
